CHES/MCHES Credits:
SOPHE, including its chapters, is a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. The Public Health in the Rockies (PHiR) Conference is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) to receive up to fifteen (15) total Category I Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH). Maximum Advanced-level continuing education contact hours available are fifteen (15).
CHES/MCHES continuing education contact hours earned at the 2016 PHiR Conference are reported to SOPHE and NCHEC on a quarterly basis. You will see your credits awarded to your NCHEC account in the quarter following the conference (between January - March 2017).
